I love you! I simply can not wait to have you in my life!! I’m so very excited to have you as my Little! Or as my mother calls you (..yes, Little, you already have a nickname even though I’m not sure who you are just yet), my Small!
Here is a very important tip from me to you. Never dry your letter shirts. When you wash them, turn them inside out and wash them. Don’t put them in the dry with the rest of your clothes though. It will mess with the flat, crisp perfect Delta Zeta. I learned this the hard way because no one told me otherwise till after I had washed and dried my shirts. C’est la vie, Little!
I’m currently sitting next to boyfriend and Big (your Grand!). I wanted to take this bloggytextsubmissionthing to tell you the importance of making time for people; sisters, friends, and partners. It probably seems like such a simple and obvious idea. So, why would I bother telling you it then? Well, I have found by first hand experience that by getting engaged in the lives of others, you’ll feel more involved.
At first, I felt very left out of sisters’ lives before I started hanging out with them and keeping in touch as much as I do now. I read something over the summer that explained everything perfectly. It went; You’ll make more friends by being interested in others’ lives than by trying to get others interested in your’s. I spent a little time thinking that over and found it to be very wise and some of the best advice to give! Show interest in others’ lives and how they are doing, because they will then show interest in yours and a stronger friendship can form from this.
Another piece of important advice I’d like to give you is to try not to put ‘all your eggs in one basket’, as my mother would put it. The phrase means to not dedicate all your time and effort to one thing. Find a balance, a happy balance. Make time for everything you find important!
I have three obsessions you need to be made aware of. I love turtles, puppies, and Spongebob. I adore turtles because they represent Delta Zeta and they’re adorable! so that’s simple to understand. I lovelovelove puppies! And all dogs, no matter how old, will always be consider a puppy to me. Little, you will learn to the extend that I love puppies. And, I adore Spongebob! You’ll see..
I hope you either adore one, most, or all of those things..or can learn to tolerant my love for them. It is important to our relationship! :P
